Day 1 – Arrive at Port Blair and complete the local sightseeing:

It is always good to arrive at a tourist destination in the morning. You can find better places to eat and have the perk of covering some of the local attractions that day itself. After you arrive, you can either hire autos from the airport or get a pick-up service booked from your hotel itself. There are many decent hotels in Junglighat that are located with markets around and lots of local attractions nearby. Visit the museum, Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium and Cellular Jail (in the evening preferably, to watch the light and sound show as well).

Day 2 – Ross Island, North Bay Island and Evening Ferry to Havelock:

Rise up early and take the first ferry to the Ross Island and North Bay Island. Watch the Japanese Bunkers and remnants of British Colonial Era; take a dip in waters at the Ross Island for scuba diving; Andaman Dolphin; Snorkelling etc and arrive by late noon ferry back to Port Blair. Go to Havelock the same day via a ferry which is booked via tourist permits and reach Havelock by late evening. You can also book the permits prior going to the Port Blair and apply Makemytrip Coupon code to get decent discounts on the packages.

Day 3 – Tour the Havelock Islands:

Visit the Radha Nagar Beach in the morning and witness the breath-taking views of the Bay of Bengal. There you can enjoy local shopping; take the small jungle trek to the Elephant Beach if you wish to have some coastal adventure. Return and board a hired conveyance to reach the Kaala Patthar beach.

Day 4 – Neil Island:

Take a ferry to Neil Island and enjoy the wonderful scenic splendour. Here you can experience the thrill and fun of scuba diving again.

Day 5 – Chidiya Tapu and local shopping:

Take some rest and visit the local sites such as Chatham Saw Mill and Chidiya Tapu and get ready for the next day.

Day 6 – Baratang and Middle Strait:

Book a really early morning conveyance for the Baratang and Middle Strait tour. Witness the untarnished wilderness of the tribal area of Andaman; the limestone caves and the mud volcano.

Day 7 – Jolly Buoy and Wandoor Beach:

Take a taxi to the Wandoor Beach and enjoy the local marine museum. Then, take the ferry ride to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park which is a collection of 15 coral islands of which only two are open for the visitors, namely – Red Skin and Jolly Buoy. Each one is open for 6 months alternatively. Enjoy witnessing the corals from a boat with a thick lens as the floor.

Return to Port Blair and take the flight back to your place.

It is said that to explore the Andamans you need legs like a deer. To save time and money, you should book the permits for various destinations and ferries before reaching Port Blair.
